Advanced First Aid Pre-Study
The pre-study training course includes online workbooks, with multiple choice questions and video tutorials. As a guide, the workbooks take approx 1 hour to complete and there are 9 workbooks to complete.
Students must complete the advanced first aid pre-study before attending the 8hr classroom session. The online training provide students with the knowledge needed to participate in the practical activities.
The 8hr classroom session is delivered in a compact format, so without completing the online advanced first aid training, students may not have the required knowledge to complete the practical and theory assessments.
Once enrolled, students may commence the online advanced first aid training immediately.
The online advanced first aid training uses flash player as the platform for the workbooks, therefore you will need to use a device or computer which allows flash to be played on it.
To assist our students in completing the online advanced first aid training, we have introduced Google Translate so you can read the learner manuals in your Native Language. Once logged in, there is a Google Translate option at the top of each of the manuals. View a full list of language translations available.
*NOTE: While we try to make your learning easier with Google Translate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the translated wording in the learning materials. The original English version of learning material is accurate at the time of publishing. Google Translate is only available for the online reading material; all online workbooks, classroom training and assessment, where applicable, is completed in English. If you need assistance with completing assessments in English, please contact us before enrolling into the course.
Advanced First Aid Assessments
To be assessed as competent in this course, all students must competently complete:
- Practical demonstration CPR
- Practical demonstration of first aid
- Practical use of defibrillator & oxygen administration
- Practical use of spinal management equipment; and
- All theory assessments

Advanced First Aid entry requirements
A current First Aid certificate must be produced at the classroom session. If you do not have a current First Aid certificate, you cannot join this course. If you require a First Aid certificate, we deliver weekly courses at our Sydney CBD office and / or can deliver this training at your workplace.

With successful completion of this course, a nationally accredited certificate in HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid valid for three (3) years & HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation valid for one ( 1) year.
